Linea d'Ombra is a voluntary organisation founded in Trieste in 2019. Its aim is to support migrant populations in Trieste, along the Balkan route and wherever else there may be a need. We provide medical care, clean clothes, food and social interaction to those passing through the city of Trieste; we financially support organisations that are as committed as we are; we travel to Bosnia, Serbia and Bulgaria to bring concrete aid; we report on our political actions and the violence we witness. The Association's funds come entirely from private donors and, especially during the summer when the flow of migrants is at its peak, we also rely on the solidarity and help of scout groups, associations, parishes and private citizens from all over Italy.

Linea d’Ombra è un’organizzazione di volontariato nata a Trieste nel 2019. Il suo fine è sostenere le popolazioni migranti a Trieste, lungo la rotta balcanica e ovunque potrà esserci bisogno. Operiamo prestando cure mediche, indumenti puliti, cibo e socialità a chi passa in transito per la città di Trieste; sosteniamo economicamente realtà impegnate come noi; compiamo viaggi in Bosnia, Serbia e Bulgaria per portare aiuti concreti; raccontiamo il nostro agire politico e le violenze di cui siamo testimoni. I fondi dell’Associazione provengono interamente da donatori privati e per il lavoro in strada ci si avvale, soprattutto nel periodo estivo di flusso più intenso, anche dell’aiuto solidale di gruppi scouts, associazioni, parrocchie e privati cittadini provenienti da tutta Italia.
